Afraid To Lose Your Data?

Thursday, February 28th, 2008

Ever since it happened to me last year, I am completely paranoid about losing my data to viruses, or the blue screen of death. I’ve been trying to research alternatives of just saving your files on your hard drive. Here are just a few that I came up with that seem pretty simple and reasonable. Let me know if you guys can think of any others.

  • Saving onĀ  Flash Drive.
  • Using Backup Software.
  • Saving on CDs or disks (depending on your computer).
  • Maintaining the fetal position while praying it won’t happen again.

“Dear Britney…Remember When?”

Friday, February 15th, 2008

Oh Britney…remember your good ol’ glory days when you were pop’s reigning princess, replete with your sexy toned body and blonde hair? What happened? Bad skin, ugly extensions trying to remedy self-inflicted baldness, and the most ill-favored clothes ever adorned (fashion faux pas would be a serious understatement) are just not becoming on you!

Everyday I see the unfortunate star plastered across gossip mags, celebrity blogs, and even the prime time news. And the pics ain’t pretty. Whoever thought we’d see the day where her ex golddigger K-Fed would look better than her?

Brit! Get your self together! We miss the old pre-Kevin Britney circa 2002! Maybe you should start working out again, lose some weight, perhaps start taking your Zantrex again (remember?). How do you feel about seeing a real hairstylist, and girlfriend, buy some new clothes - or better yet, hire someone to do that for you. Heaven knows you have enough money. We’re rooting for you!

Interesting Fact about Truckers

Thursday, February 14th, 2008

Freight trucks are everywhere; we all see them on the roads everyday. But I’ve just found out an interesting fact about their humble beginnings. The military began experimenting with using large trucks with rubber tires to haul cargo to the troops during World War II. By 1920, one million freight trucks were on the American roads. Now, we are upwards of 25 million trucks. And there seems to be more truck driver jobs than ever before. If that is the line of work you want to get into, I suggest you do it now while the business is booming.
